While my husband and I love our eye doctor the staff who handles the ordering of glasses and making sure they fit have really gone down hill. It has been our experience that when picking glasses up on multiple occasions they want to just hand them to you and send you out the door rather than make sure they fit or sit right. Sadly gone are the days when they heated them to adjust the fit on your face to keep them from being uncomfortable or slide down. I miss when it was a small local business.

I only see good reviews published, are any comments about prices? I made an appointment for my friend who is in a difficult economic situation right now. I was told an eye check would be $ 140.00, he paid $ 124.00 and thought he had paid in full, but MyEyeDr.is billing him for another $ 165.00 Really? $ 289.00 just for an eye exam for regular prescription glasses? They said it was for "refraction", I thought that is what it is done when having an eye exam.

As a DC My Eyes customer, I was happy to find them here in Asheville. However, it’s very difficult to convince them to give you an exam. Last January it was, oh you read the card, no need. It was the same this year, until I insisted that I needed the exam. The exam did indeed reveal I needed a new prescription. Why are they so hesitant to provide an exam? I have private insurance, and I’m not on Medicare?

Dr.Faber and her staff are just amazing. Dr. Faber is very thoughtful, and explains the best course of action. I would highly recommend Dr. Faber she and her staff are GREAT!!!!

Booked an appointment online and received a call that the appointment time was double booked and had to cancel. I’m in from out of town and have zero contacts and really needed that appointment. Horrible business practice to allow online booking and then not honor the appointment.
